Heather Balducci Heather Balducci, LCSW joined the PRO team in 2014. Heather comes to PRO with experience in counseling and case management in a variety of settings including community-based mental health treatment, homeless services, and cancer treatment. She is especially interested in helping individuals overcome barriers to activities that support their quality of life, as well as recognizing and treating mental health symptoms common in PD. Holly Chaimov Holly Chaimov, Executive Director, joined PRO in August, 1999. She has a BS in Psychology, minor in Gerontology, and a Masters degree in Business Administration. In her tenure with Parkinson's Resources, Holly has played a key role in the positive growth and development of services for the Parkinson's community here in the Northwest. Recently, Holly served on the Steering Committee and Local Planning Committee for the World Parkinson’s Congress, 2016 – furthering her work to bring quality programs to our NW community. Ginger Despins Ginger Despins jumped into the role of Office Manager in early 2013. In addition to being the welcoming voice on the phone, look to Ginger to assist with lending library inquiries, mailing list questions and donor support and recognition. Libby Kennard Libby Kennard joined us in the fall of 2013 in our Lane County office. Libby is a strong advocate and creative problem-solver for those she helps. She has 20+ years of experience working in social services much of it with seniors experiencing transitions & chronic disease management. Libby has a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Specialty in Holistic Health. Her interest in wellness & holistic health is a good fit for her work with people with chronic conditions. Libby also enjoys promoting healthy lifestyles through evidence-based programs focusing on exercise, fall prevention and self-management. Contact Libby at Libby@parkinsonsresources.org
Tracy Leeper Tracy Leeper joined PRO in 2017 as our Development Coordinator, focusing on the success of our fundraising events. Tracy and her family moved to Lake Oswego in August from San Diego, where she ran peer-to-peer fundraising walks and programs like our Sole Support for several years. We are very excited about the experience and enthusiasm she brings to the position, organization, and our clients. Contact Tracy at devsupport@parkinsonsresources.org.
Jess Long Jessica Long hails from the other Portland, Portland, Maine! As the newest member of the PRO team, we are excited to benefit from Jessica's knowledge and expertise in community health and chronic illness. Melissa Moran Melissa Moran, MPH, joined the PRO team in December 2014 as the Education and Wellness Coordinator. Melissa has a put her background in nutrition and public health to use through various community programs in Oregon. She is especially passionate about health promotion and the holistic approach to the overall well-being of others. Melissa is excited to bring all her experiences to PRO and be a part of the great work being done. Lauren Tietsort Lauren Tietsort, Development Director, joined PRO in November 2014 with experience in both the public and private sectors and over 15 years of fundraising and event management experience. Her nonprofit background includes Morrison Child & Family Services and Lines for Life. Lauren grew up and went to school in Northern California and has proudly called Portland home for more than 20 years. Lauren comes to us excited to grow our major donor and corporate partnerships while overseeing PRO’s fundraising and marketing programs. Contact Lauren at Lauren@ParkinsonsResources.org
