Handling Mental Health Concerns

October 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Donations Encouraged

40-50% of people with PD suffer from stress, anxiety & depression, adding the challenges of a pandemic that has caused isolation and distress has had a further effect on mental health. While these added challenges have had immediate effects on how we live our lives and our mental wellbeing, what are the long-term effects? With re-entry and a post vaccine world, how can we get to a healthy place with so much unknown?

As we continue to deal with the ebbs and flows of the pandemic, we will discuss that despair is normal. Waiting for things to get back to “normal” isn’t a solution to feel better. What happens when your coping strategies fail? In this program, Dr. Marty will talk about when it is time to seek help, how to seek help and what to expect from interventions.  Virtual Program
