Tai Chi/QiGong for Parkinson’s
Beginners will learn the seated upper body moves to 8 form Tai Chi. These are flowing moves broken into separate movement forms. Depending on ability, some foot patterns will be introduced. Classes are limited to 4 participants.
Classes are groups according to ability. There is an advanced, intermediate and beginner group. Exercise modifications and additions are presented according to ability of group. Exercises cover balance, leg strength, stamina, breathing patterns, cognition and mood.
Participants must be able to take verbal and visual direction on Zoom.
