We are thrilled to bring an exciting, inspiring, and educational event to Bend, Oregon! Join us to learn about gadgets and gizmos for everyday life and explore resilience beyond a diagnosis! With an adaptive fashion display, gadgets and gizmos to explore and an exhibit hall where you will have a chance to talk to industry professionals about their specialized therapies and local community partners, this interactive day will leave you feeling empowered and full with a plated lunch included.

Topic and speakers:

Kat Hill will be presenting Resilience with Change, an approach to finding joy and remaining resilient with Parkinson’s disease. Kat is an author and advocate for finding wellness despite a diagnosis. She speaks around the world for the World Parkinson Congress and the Davis Phinney Foundation. She is also a co-founder of the Women’s Parkinson’s Project. Her co-authored book, Being Well with Chronic Illness. You can find her at www.kathill.org

Occupational Therapist, Toni Brockman will present Gizmos and Gadgets. She will demonstrate how to use a variety of items to make daily activities easier. Toni has been an Occupational Therapist for 30 years. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of neurological diagnoses.
