Stay Sharp: A Conversation about Cognition and Parkinson’s

In recognition of June being Brain Awareness Month, PRO is presenting a valuable in-person talk about cognition and Parkinson’s. In this talk, Wes Smith, MA, CCC-SLP and Brent Waroniecki, OTD, OTR/L will address what to look for – what are normal age-related cognitive changes and what is an indicator to speak with your care team.

Both speech language pathologists and occupational therapists are experts in helping address cognitive changes. Wes and Brent will explain the approaches their respective disciplines use when working with clients who are experiencing cognitive changes, as well as share practical tips and strategies for managing these changes.

This in-person talk will be held on Monday, June 9, at 3:00 p.m. at PRO’s main office in Beaverton
