HOPE in Parkinson’s: Pendleton, OR
There are more treatment options for Parkinson’s disease now than there have ever been. This is an exciting time with the development of new biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease through spinal fluid, as well as new diagnostics through skin biopsy. Dr. Talman will be discussing current treatments, ongoing research studies, and how to maintain hope in the face of Parkinson’s Disease.
Presented by: Dr. Lauren Talman is a Movement Disorders neurologist at Oregon Health & Science University. She joined the OHSU Parkinson Center team in 2019. Dr. Talman is an active clinician, but is also involved in clinical research and serves as an educator, both within her institution and the community.
