Managing Anxiety in Parkinson’s Disease
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. In Parkinson’s disease, the changes to mood and emotional well-being aren’t often at the forefront. These symptoms are prevalent and important to address.
We will focus on the fact that anxiety is more common in Parkinson’s disease and often an early symptom. Learn to recognize signs and symptoms, as well as self-help and professional supports that are available and effective.
