Constipation and Gastrointestinal Issues in Parkinson’s

Have you experienced stomach problems like bellyaches and bloating? Do you find you are not as regular as you could be? You are not the only one finding it difficult to manage.

The entire gastrointestinal system is affected by Parkinson’s Disease. From the tongue to the bum! In particular constipation, nausea, and decreased appetite are common problems that often require complex solutions. We will learn how this relates to Parkinson’s disease, when you should talk to the doctor and how it is managed. Our program with Dr. Sara Batya, MDS, will provide answers to issues that impact most people with PD.
