We want you to learn best practices for handling what can be a baffling condition with complicated medication schedules, unpredictable care needs and an assortment of symptoms.

If you work to provide support and care for someone with Parkinson’s, please join us for this day of training to build upon your knowledge and give you new skills to provide exceptional care to people living with Parkinson’s. Developed to provide professional caregivers (staff in assisted living, nursing, rehab, adult foster care, and home health) with crucial knowledge that is specifically designed to be easily understood and applied in care settings.

Our Workbook Companion is included. It contains tools and additional resources that you and your team will reference again and again.

Engage Eugene: In Person!

Parkinson’s Health and Wellness Fair, Saturday, April 27th from 2-4pm at Campbell Community Center in Eugene.

We are emphasizing the importance of community by bringing together local expert leaders and local resources to share information and connect to patients, families, caregivers, and allied health professionals. Community Connection events will be held in person in three service regions (Eugene, Bend, Beaverton) as part of PRO’s Parkinson’s Awareness Month series.

The theme word is Engagement. We will share knowledge and strategies to live better with this disease. There will be exercise demonstrations and wellness tips. We hope you will sign up for something new, meet new people and catch up with people you’ve not seen in a while.

This event will be a combination of practical healthy living strategies, a health and wellness fair with local PD partners, and time with peers and PRO staff.
