Parkinson’s Exercise Class w/Becky Dallum

This class focuses on whole body activation, strength, flexibility, balance, fine motor skills, dual tasking, posture, agility and cardiovascular exercise. There is NO CHARGE to participants. Our goal is to provide you with tools to help improve movements and skills that can decline in Parkinson’s, improve your overall quality of life, and reduce falls.

Ideally, participants should be able to move continuously for one hour and able to stand for durations of time.

Yoga for PD

YOGA for PD is carefully designed to increase flexibility, strength and balance while alleviating stress. Research shows YOGA improves visuospatial memory, a type of remembering that is important for balance, depth perception and ability to recognize objects and navigate the world. Join Brynna and dynamic community in the Ongoing class.  Open to all levels of ability.

PD Exercise w/Nancy Barlow

Participants in this class should be able to be on their feet for an hour and able to independently or with little assistance get up and down off the floor. This is a high intensity class focused on big amplitude moves, strength, balance, dual tasking and agility exercises.

Carepartners are strongly encouraged to be present for safety and are welcome to participate in the class at no charge.

Rebel Fit Club Knock Out! Ladies Only Boxing – Hybrid

This class is best for individuals who are at low-risk of falling and can be on their feet for one full hour. Kimberly Berg’s Rebel Fit Club offers different classes for different abilities.  See website.

Online Dance for Parkinson’s (seated)

A seated class where participants are empowered to explore movement and music in an enjoyable, stimulating and creative way.  This class is good for people with all levels of ability. No previous dance experience is required.

Donations encouraged, $10-$15 is suggested. No fee for caregivers.

The Tillamook support group meets virtually over Zoom. Peer facilitated, this group welcomes those with Parkinson’s as well as their family and supporting friends.

Gresham General Interest Support Group

This support group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:00pm. It is open to people with Parkinson’s, care partners, family, and friends. Please note the group is now meeting at the Gresham United Methodist Church.
